The Hagreen Four Yours, now with a new twist…Two weeks ago, we welcomed two new members (twins) to the Hagreen family, now a healthy six strong. The Hagreen Four Yours now have a little different meaning. Friends are saying – How are ‘your four’? It’s been a blessing to step away for a couple days. I have been able to reflect on the values journey. What does it really mean and how do I even start? I think it helps to understand the cycle of living your values before getting them down on paper. I applaud committing to a value set and leaning in. But some may be right only for certain ages and stages of this life. So, it’s helpful to understand what you’re getting yourself into. A natural cycle begins to form, starting with:🔄 Honest Reflection, followed by🔄 Intentional Movement and 🔄 Focused Attention, and finally 🔄 Review & Iteration. Let’s explore this over the next couple days.Maybe then you can finally get your values written down.

With many of us starting 2024 with a new years resolution, here is one that caught our eye, Keep Britain Tidy's 'Buy Nothing New Month'.The campaign is about moving beyond simply #recycling, to reducing the amount of new stuff that we buy, and by extension, the amount of waste that we create’. Are you aware about the world's To-Do list?We may be making a new list every year beginning. Part of it gets completed, parts gets postponed and part vanish. That to-do list makes what we become.But the world's To-Do list which was listed in 2015 is still NOT DONE. What more? Very few care or concern about it or think someone else will do it. If the list remains pending, we will be DONE away with.A read or a like to this post will not solve the problem, we are the problem and have to solve it by action. If we own up at least couple of these goals implement and tell others too, then only the change will be visible.Few small things like:1. Carry your own cotton/jute bag while going to buy groceries, fruits or vegetables2. Reduce the use of plastics, look for alternatives. Whatever you have, think twice before discarding. Dispose responsibly in the right segregation3. Donate or Exchange the products if you no longer need it4. Use eco-friendly or upcycled products like bags, stationary, toiletries5. Join local drive / communities in keeping city clean.
