They have gone up in price something fierce!I have used my Aero Garden to grow the herbs and petunias. I have transplanted the petunias to outside pots, and they are doing great! I water them with the liquid plant solution every day!I also ordered the 23-hole starter board that I used once to start sunflower seeds, but the seeds needed to be deeper in the pods.I have purchased another hydroponic system that I will receive today. It is not an Aero Garden, but I got it at a steal! I hope that it is at least half of what the Aero Garden system is. And, I believe it will be!

I have discovered that the seeds typically come up faster in the aero garden then when I sow them in seedling pots or directly in the ground. I found some small storage containers at the Dollartree in the craft department that are the perfect size for domes. They come 6 per package. I am happy with my purchase

It's super easy to have success for a beginner and is really fun for someone who has been growing since they were little. I only have one suggestion: have a clear column in the front of the "fill to here" tower, so people who place the AeroGrow on a shelf can clearly see the water level when filling, without having to use a step ladder. Thanks so much for this quality machine!

Rated 1 out of5 bySamm fromI don't know because they sent something elseOrdered Harvest Slim seed starting kit but I got a shelf for Farm Stacking System instead. I called but no answer. Called again next day but got voicemail then phone hung up. I emailed twice and still waiting for reply. Let see how long before they reply back on how to fix my order.I give the company 0 star for communication and 0 for shipping. I thought this was a big company and professional. So dissapointed.

Rated 4 out of5 byMurphy fromLove the trays, hate the cost of the spongesI have two harvest slims and only use them with the seed starting trays. These trays are great for starting plants indoors quickly before moving them to the garden outside. Each tray can sprout 23 plants at a time so I can get a jump on planting for each season a few weeks ahead of time.My only complaint is that it's expensive to keep buying the sponges they want you to use with these trays. Instead I have 3D printed smaller versions of the plastic seed holders and either stuff them with rockwool or coco fiber and my own seeds.

Rated 3 out of5 byEllen M fromCould be much better but still worth it.I wasn't happy about the fact it doesn't seat properly in the unit. It is kind of wobbly, which makes the unit,, in my opinion, call for water more frequently. Also, not all of the seeds germinate because they are so close together and the taller plants block light from shorter ones. There is also no place to mark which seed is which. The only way you would know is if you planted all the same. By planting all available spots, you can't completely cover each seed with a dome because they are too close together. I would use it again but not use all the spaces to allow for light to get to all the plants. Unfortunately, this will mean the water will evaporate quicker because there will be open spaces. The unit doesn't come with covers for holes not filled. I don't even think AeroGarden sells such a thing.

In the second course nothing grew anymore.Since I used the sponges of the 50 pack and theygot all moldy I go and order rock wool pellets soon and try it with these guys.
