I have too many favorite holiday dishes to count, but if I were to put them all in a single meal, my top choices would probably be honeybaked ham, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, and either pecan pie or chocolate-covered Ritz peanut butter crackers for dessert.

Thank you – those cheesy potatoes are something new I’ve been making this year, and they are SUCH a huge hit at parties, I love that you can just ‘set it and forget it’ and they’re always the first thing gone at parties lol – I think I’ve made them at least 15 times this year alone – lots of family parties!

I make the same menu for Christmas every year (and get the stink eye if I don’t). The only exception is dessert, which I try something new…hmmm…by the way, have any suggestions??? Haha My favorite dish is the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing (with baked French onion soup as a very, very close second!).
I think I may just have to find time to make a batch of cookies (or two).

I,too have a LOT of favorite holiday foods! Among them, though, are pumpkin pie, fudge of all flavors (maple, milk chocolate & walnut, dark chocolate mint, peanut butter, and on & on!), divinity, and Shrimp co*cktails (the co*cktail sauce is super easy: just add a bit of horseradish and maybe a bit of tabasco to ketchup!).
I really like your Egg Nog Christmas cookies and am going to try them this year!

Omg… I love Holiday food. Mashed potatoes. Green Bean Casserole. Christmas morning with my family has always meant pancakes and bacon after gift opening. I make homemade cinnamon rolls. When my mom was alive she liked to host Christmas Eve and make all kinds of snacks. She would have loved this post with all the yummy looking stuff you compiled.

My favorite holiday dish is fondue, which my family has every Christmas Eve. It’s a 5 Ingredient Recipe too, I think…garlic, white wine, cheese, flour, spices (as long as I can count them together as one ingredient–freshly ground nutmeg and pepper).

You really outdid yourself on this issue! I can’t even count the things I want to make and eat in a closet, closed. With a lock.
Thank you for your inspiration. Ever hear of the Polish delight, Krushiki? You need to make them. Let me know if you want the recipe. Simple, delicious, and smacks of Christmas. Our neighbor was Polish, and I couldn’t wait for Christmas because she’d invite me to make them with her kids.
Today’s posting is going right on my FB page. Too many choices for me! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
