Because Greek yogurt is a ZeroPoint™ food on WW PersonalPoints plans, the only SmartPoints you need to count come from the flour (3 SmartPoints for ¼ cup).

So Points conscious WWs around the globe have been quick to find ways to turn this super simple 2-ingredient dough into a variety of yeasted, bread-y things, from bagels and pretzel bites to pizza, flatbread, and cinnamon rolls for fewer SmartPoints.

What is Self-Rising Flour?

Self-rising flour is a combination of all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

If you don't have self-rising flour for two-ingredient dough on hand, it is easy to make your own: Add 1-½ teaspoons of baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt to each cup of all-purpose flour. Whole wheat or gluten-free flours should also work.

Skinny 2-Ingredient Dough Everything Bagels

The first thing I ever made with 2-ingredient dough was bagels...

I divided the dough into 4 equal pieces, rolled each into a 6- to 7-inch snake, then pinched the ends together to form a circle. Placed them on the baking sheet (affiliate link), brushed each one with beaten egg white over the tops, sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning (affiliate link) and baked at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.

Lauren's 2-Ingredient Dough Variation with Egg

Combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder and 1 egg. This makes the dough a little runny but it is about the same as drop scones. Each recipe makes 6 large scones or buns. Cook each recipe at 350F degrees for about 20 minutes

This is an extremely flexible recipe. Here are some variation ideas:

  • Multigrain: Use multiple flavors of grains for half of the flour.
  • Italian Bread: Add Italian seasoning (0 pts) and add cheese, be sure to count the extra points.
  • Sweet Bread: Add stevia or splenda and other spices if using fruit.
